How GST works on a clinic bill in the software

Line by line

One bill with an exempt consult, a taxed medicine and a taxed product.

Each line's GST class defaults from the type of item: a consultation, a medicine, a skincare product. You can change the class on any line before you bill.

No GSTIN, no GST

A small clinic that isn't GST-registered, billing tax it can't charge.

GST is charged only once you add your clinic's GSTIN. Until then, every line goes out without tax.

CGST and SGST

Working out the split by hand at the counter.

Tax is split into CGST and SGST on the invoice, for each rate on the bill.

Sending the bill

Printing a bill the patient loses by evening.

The invoice goes to the patient's WhatsApp in one tap. Payment reminders for unpaid invoices can be switched on in Settings; they are off until you do. No per-message fees.
