What slows a GP clinic down, and what MyCliniCore does about it

Eight problems from a GP clinic's day, and what the product does with each today.

OPD queue & appointments

The waiting room is full and nobody can say who is next.

Today's Queue shows every booked patient and walk-in: waiting, in consult or done. Check a patient in with one tap and start the consult from the same screen. Appointment types for a GP clinic (consultation, follow-up, procedure, vaccination, health check, teleconsultation, emergency) are ready on day one, with your own fees.

Patient records

A child's record that lists the child as the one to call.

The patient is the person, with age, sex, date of birth and weight. Adults are their own contact; a patient under 18 gets a parent or guardian as the contact, so reminders and bills reach the right phone.

Consult notes & vitals

Vitals on a slip of paper, history in the doctor's head.

Each consult has the chief complaint, a SOAP note and vitals: temperature, pulse, respiratory rate, blood pressure and SpO2. The last visit's vitals sit beside the new ones.

Prescriptions

A handwritten prescription the chemist has to phone about.

Prescriptions print as a PDF with the patient's age and sex, and the doctor's qualification and registration number under the signature. Medicine, dose, frequency and duration are typed, so they can be read.

Add each doctor's qualification and registration number to their profile once; every prescription after that carries them.

Vaccinations

The tetanus booster nobody remembered was due.

Record each dose with its next due date; common vaccine names are suggested as you type. The patient's vaccination history stays on their record, and the next due date drives the reminder.

Lab orders

The sample went out. Did the report come back?

Order tests from a catalogue of common human tests, or type any test that isn't listed. Each order moves from Ordered to Sample collected, Processing and Completed, so the front desk can see what is still out.

In-house dispensary

Strips of tablets expiring at the back of the shelf.

Stock is tracked by batch and expiry, the earliest expiry goes out first, and low stock is flagged. Mark a medicine as controlled and it shows a Controlled badge in your medicine list.

The Controlled badge is a flag on the medicine. It is not a register; keep the register your licence requires.

Billing & GST

Consult, lab test and medicines on one bill, each taxed differently.

Consultations, procedures, immunisations and lab tests are billed exempt. Medicine lines are set to 5% GST, and GST is charged only once your clinic's GSTIN is saved; until then every line goes out without tax. CGST and SGST are split on the invoice.

You can change any line's class. Your CA confirms which class a service belongs in.

The prescription reaches the patient. So does the reminder.

On WhatsApp, in words written for people, from your clinic's name. No per-message fees.

Prescription, on the patient's phone

The medicines, doses and follow-up date as a message, and the prescription PDF as a document, sent to the patient or their guardian.

Vaccination reminders

A reminder a week before a dose is due, sent on its own. Nobody has to make the call.

Appointment reminders and bills

Appointment reminders go out the evening before, and the invoice goes to WhatsApp in one tap.

Lab results, welcome, birthday and “we miss you” messages are not sent to patients yet: their templates are waiting for WhatsApp's approval.

Exempt consult. 5% medicine. One bill.

A GP bill mixes exempt services with taxable medicines. MyCliniCore sets the class for each line from what it is, charges GST only once your GSTIN is saved, and splits CGST and SGST on the invoice.

Questions GP clinics ask

Is this for clinics in India only?

It is built India-first: GST invoices, exempt consultations, 5% medicines and WhatsApp. Clinics elsewhere can sign up, and the tax classes follow your country.

How do I sign up as a GP clinic or polyclinic?

Use the Start free button on this page. It opens sign-up with “General practice / polyclinic” already chosen as your kind of clinic, with email or Google. The clinic type is set at sign-up, so check it before you continue.

Is there a sample GP clinic I can look around?

No. The sample data in the app is for veterinary clinics, so a GP clinic starts empty. Import your patient list from Excel, or book a walkthrough and we’ll show it with GP work.

Which WhatsApp messages go to patients?

Prescriptions (the message and the PDF), vaccination reminders, appointment reminders and invoices. Lab results, welcome, birthday and “we miss you” messages are not sent to patients yet: their templates are waiting for WhatsApp’s approval. Messages are not billed per message.

Do you keep a Schedule H1 register or ICD-10 codes?

Not yet. You can flag a medicine as controlled, and diagnoses are free text. Keep the registers your licence requires alongside MyCliniCore.

Run tomorrow's OPD in it. Free for 14 days.
