Appointment reminders

Every evening, a reminder goes out on WhatsApp to each patient (or pet owner) with an appointment the next day: the date, the time and the appointment type, from your clinic's name. It is on from the start, for every kind of clinic.
Vaccination reminders
The booster nobody remembered was due.
A reminder goes out a week before a recorded vaccination is due. For GP clinics it is worded for people; for vet clinics, for the pet's owner.
Skin clinics don't record vaccinations, so they don't send these.
Follow-up and payment reminders
Follow-ups that slip and bills that stay unpaid.
Automatic follow-up reminders and payment reminders for unpaid invoices can be switched on in Settings. They are off until you switch them on.
End-of-day report
The owner asking at night how the day went.
A daily summary of the day's takings can go to the owner's WhatsApp automatically, on the Revenue plan and above.

Questions about WhatsApp reminders
When do appointment reminders go out?
In the evening, the day before the appointment. They are sent on their own for every appointment booked for the next day, and can be switched off in Settings.
Is there a fee for each WhatsApp message?
No. WhatsApp messages are not billed per message.
Can patients confirm or reschedule by replying?
No. The reminder asks patients to contact the clinic if they need to reschedule or cancel, and your staff make the change in the app.
Which messages are not sent to patients yet?
For GP and skin clinics, lab results, welcome, birthday and “we miss you” messages are not sent yet, and neither is the skin-clinic package purchase summary: their templates are waiting for WhatsApp’s approval.
Do follow-up and payment reminders go out automatically?
They can. Both are switched off for a new clinic; turn them on in Settings and they go out each day for pending follow-ups and unpaid invoices.
